Today the Imperials were sighted in the vicinity of Aetheryte Camps that are located near the locations of previously confirmed Primal sightings.
Previously, the armies of the Garlean Empire could be seen close to the city gates of the three city-states of Eorzea. Now however, it appears that their focus may have shifted towards the Primals.
The event itself will toggle on and off for about 4 hours at a time. During which, large quantities of level 50 imperial soldiers will surround the areas around Camp Iron Lake, Camp Broken Water, Camp Dragonhead and Camp Crimson Bark. In addition to these ordinary soliders, there is a special group located in the area (with two possible locations in each area) which consists of special soldiers and a Magitek Vanguard H-1. Adventurers have discovered that these enemies (and possibly the normal soldiers) drop two hats which were previously unobtainable in the game- the Imperial Operative Tricorne and the Imperial Operative Hat.
Those that aren?t currently in a linkshell capable of taking on these special units head on may rest easy! The rewarded hats from this event are not dependent on who has claim of the enemy! Simply go out and team up with your fellow adventurers for a chance at some great equipment! If you get lucky you?ll see one appear in your loot pool!
