ASRC Aerospace is seeking a Software Analyst in support of our software development team located at Vandenberg Air Force base in California.

The Software Analyst will support?the?VAFB Software Development Team in the following functions:?

- Host and maintain a fully integrated data environment for mission-assurance and launch-verification software applications on a government-provided server.

- Maintain and sustain all non-system software documentation (e.g. commenting in the code, user?s manuals, training guides, explanation of the software coding, and audit/change logs) and

make available for Government use.

- Manage, maintain, program, and administrate Mission Assurance and Launch Verification software applications, data environments, and servers to prepare for Launch Operations, Satellite and Booster processing, and Contingency/Anomaly Resolution activities.

Qualifications:

• Solid database background with?understanding the structure and theory of relational databases including understanding and creation of data table structures, layout, and interconnects.
  
• Microsoft SQL Server experience is required, preferably as a System Administrator (SQL 2005 / 2008).
  
• Object oriented application development experience is required, preferably coding experience in either VB .NET or C# .NET using Microsoft Visual Studio.
  
• Candidate should have either A+ or Security + certification. If not available, the candidate will be required to complete certification within 6 months of employment.
  
• Microsoft Office knowledge; Access experience and understanding.? Ability to create Power Point presentations. Technical documentation writing and experience.
  
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
