Premade Characters - From video games, movies and animes or any other resources are not permitted within most rpg enviroments, it is also highly frowned upon if you wish to play a premade character then this RPG is not for you. However the use of pictures of those characters are allowed to be used but please use them accordingly and through your own creativity.
Respecting Your Fellow Player - If the player that you role play with does not want Language, Sex or Violence while they are role playing with you. Either you should respect their wishes or find somebody else to role play with, keep in mind that there are some players who mind them and others that don't so please do not force anything on anyone.
Respecting PMs - Should you wish to speak with anyone in PM please ask them out of character in the main before hand, they could be busy role playing, lagging, AFK or just do not want PMs at all please by all means respect this rule.
Out of Character[OOC] -If there is an RP session going on in the chat OOC in the main is to be kept to a minimum however there is a time for OOC if there is only one or two players in the room, if you wish to speak with them OOC that is fine but should another player enter the room and wish to role play then OOC returns to a minimum. Should this occur take anything related OOC to PM.
Warnings - Players who are in the room are subjected to three[3] and only three warnings. After three warnings have been issued your character will be deleted from the game and you will be asked to leave. If you do not leave then a moderator will be summoned to take care of the problem until then ignore the person and continue playing.
Harrassment - Toward a staff member or player of Nightmares Realm will not be tolerated nor will the owner/creator show any mercy, against those who wish to berate and torment others out of character because they did not like something that the player did. If you cannot say anything nice do not say anything at all also real life threats is considered as harassment as well and is a violation. This rule will be enforced because we will not have the game jeopardized by such people who antagonize others.
Profane Language - There is no set limit to profane language that you may use IC or OOC but please use them at the right times. Note: Racial slurs are not allowed in the chat or forum.
Violence - There are no limits to violence you may be as gory as you like but keep it tasteful.
Sexually Explicit Content - When it comes to sex words like "Breasts.", Manhood." or "Womanhood." words like these are used in romance novels when describing someone. These must be used to describe the person. Outside the room we cannot regulate you however in the chat please abide by these guidelines. Note: Sexual Content is not allowed on the forum.

Aging - The cycle of aging starts every three weeks that the character or child will age up to one year during that time, until they reach the desired age then it moves on to every month that the child will age up to one year.
Births - Pregnancies are limited to four months IRL time or over however you wish to do it after the birth. However female characters are not allowed to give birth to children one after another within a few days, the birthing process takes time to heal. Once the child is born the name, date and gender of the very child must be present as well as a brief description of what they would look like. Such as race, hair, eyes and skin tone. Note: Female characters who are pregnant cannot be killed.
Adoptions - Are allowed only to players whom play as a child that player must post on the boards a brief description about the child or children and that they are looking for parents whom would like to adopt them,. The adoption process takes 3 months IRL time in order for the adoption to be setup and then signed by the adoptive parents then the parents would wait two weeks and then are eligible to adopt the specified child.
Deaths - Are acceptable and are only eligible if both players agree to have a death match although in order for this to progress, 2 staff members must be present to before the match takes place. However auto deaths are also given if the opposing player leaves the room during combat and does not return in less than 15 minutes.
Resurrections - Any player can resurrect those who have died in combat or a player character that have the skill to do it. However in order for the resurrection to take place a single post regarding the deceased character to be resurrected must be posted on the forum within 24 hours after death and for the resurrection to be acceptable 2 staff members must be present in the chat in order to take note of the resurrected character. Note: You may not use your own character to resurrect another character of yours.
